A structured process that turns scanning into a shared habit, so your organisation catches change early, even when you're not the one looking.

For teams who've been caught out before.

BUILD & IMPLEMENT AN

EARLY WARNING SYSTEM

IN EIGHT WEEKS.

THE PROBLEM

In most organisations, it's one of two things: Either nobody is watching for change, or everyone is, quietly, on their own, and none of it goes anywhere.

Someone reads an industry report. Someone else hears something at a conference. A third person notices a competitor doing something strange.

Each one is a real signal. None of them get captured anywhere shared, interpreted by anyone but the person who noticed, or turned into something the organisation actually acts on.

That's the problem:

Signals come in, and they go nowhere, because there's no system built to capture them, make sense of them together, and decide what to do.

EVERYONE SCANS.

NO ONE NOTICES ANYTHING.

The Early Warning System gives your organisation the pipeline it's missing: a structured way to capture what your people are noticing, interpret it together as a team, and turn it into decisions to act on.

Not a one-off report. A running process, installed across your team, that keeps working whether or not any one person remembers to keep it going.

By the end, your organisation will have:

  • A shared way to capture what different people are noticing

  • A structured session where your team interprets signals together

  • A clear path from a noticed signal to an actual decision, not just an interesting observation

  • The system installed and running on your own, without needing me back every time something changes

THE SOLUTION

CAPTURE. INTERPRET. ACT

Weeks 1-3: Build the Method
I work with your team to define where to look and set up a shared way for people across your organisation to capture what they're noticing. By week three, the capture system exists and is ready to run.

Weeks 4-7: Run It Live
Your team brings what they've captured to a shared weekly session: three signals, three slides, three minutes, per person. A facilitated discussion interprets what's actually worth paying attention to, together, not alone.

Week 8: Make It Mean Something
The system produces something real: patterns worth watching, priorities worth raising. The final week turnS that into a clear process for acting on what you find, and hand the whole system to your team so it keeps running after we leave.

HOW IT WORKS

8 WEEKS. ONE SYSTEM.

Your organisation captures signals in separate heads and inboxes, with no shared way to interpret them or act on what you find.

You have a leadership team willing to show up and work through this together, not just one person carrying it alone.

You want a system your organisation owns and runs, not an external report you wait for every quarter.

RIGHT FOR YOU, IF...

THIS ISN'T FOR YOU, IF...

You're looking for a one-time diagnostic.

INSTALL THE SYSTEM

BUILD & IMPLEMENT AN EARLY WARNING SYSTEM.

8 weeks. Online or Onsite. For your Team

Limited to 15-20 people.

Includes:

  • 8 weekly team sessions covering capture, interpretation, and action

  • Facilitated interpretation sessions, live, every week

  • A documented capture-to-action process your team keeps and runs - Workbook and templates for every participant

Is this the same as Build a Scanning Habit?

No. Build a Scanning Habit is for individuals. This installs the same discipline across your team, with a shared way to capture, interpret, and act together.

FAQs.

How many people need to take part?

Enough that capturing and interpreting signals doesn't depend on one person. Most leadership teams run this with their core group; we'll help you scope the right size for yours.

We already have people scanning informally. Why formalise it?

Because what they notice currently has nowhere to go. This builds the missing pipeline: a shared way to capture it, interpret it as a team, and turn it into a decision.

What happens after week 8?

Your team keeps the system and runs it independently. We're not required to keep it going, that's the point.

Is this the same as Future-Ready Strategy System?

No. This is about building the pipeline to capture and act on change early. Future-Ready Strategy System is about building multiple futures and stress-testing your strategy against them. Many teams do both, in sequence.
